Artist’s statement
Ana’s childhood, spent mostly in wandering solitude in deepest connection with nature, has a major impact on her work today. In her adult work Ana explores wild and human natures as well as their unavoidable intertwinings through various mediums. She uses defamiliarization and irony, as well as constant oscillation between mediums in order to support vibrant fluidity in her work.
